      We are looking to hire a self-motivated and detail oriented individual to manage our lawn care operations. The successful candidate will have experience in all aspects of growing and managing turfgrass as well as general knowledge of landscape maintenance practices. They will also show great leadership skills and an ability to train and manage crews. Communication skills will be crucial in dealing with a vast group of customers and crewmembers. A background in turfgrass or lawncare is a must and experience in management / sales is highly preferred. This position will oversee multiple lawn maintenance crews and will also be directly involved with sales for both residential and commercial maintenance clients. This job provides a routine schedule that very rarely includes holidays or weekends. We are a fast growing and employee minded company that offers great career potential to the right candidate.

      Minimum Qualifications-

    • ·       3-years’ experience in turf, lawn care or related fields.
    • ·       Must possess a valid 30T applicators license
    • ·       Must possess a valid driver’s license – CDL preferred

    • Job Description-

    • ·       Ability to supervise and evaluate crew members.
    • ·       Thorough understanding of lawncare principles and practices including but not limited to pesticide application, fertility, cultural practices, mowing standards, lawn renovation, turf establishment etc.
    • ·       Experience operating relevant lawn care equipment and ability to train crew members on the safe operation of said equipment.
    • ·       Understanding of maintenance practices relating to lawn care equipment and ability to track & schedule said maintenance.
    • ·       Ability to correctly diagnose issues, evaluate, and prescribe lawn treatment programs for both residential & commercial clients.
    • ·       Ability to address customer issues and complaints in a positive and professional manner.
    • ·       Ability to recognize potential upsell opportunities and act on them in a professional manner.
    • ·       Ability to provide great customer service through direct interaction with the customer.
    • ·       Ability to proactively schedule services based on weather and seasonal demands.
    • ·       Ability to adjust schedules to meet demands of weather and other factors.

    MaxTurf is seeking a full time Lawn Care Specialist to work out of our Maxwell (20 minutes from Ames and Ankeny) location. This is a salary plus overtime position with benefits. Typical hours in season are Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays. We provide clients full-service lawn care. MaxTurf has a reputation for providing consistent, reliable and personal lawn care services throughout the Des Moines and Ames metro area.

    We are looking for an individual who can be responsible for all aspects of our services, such as: mowing, shrub pruning, core aeration, overseeding, lawn applications and snow removal. The applicant will have the opportunity to do a little bit of everything within our scope of work.

    Pay Range: $44,000 to $50,000

    Job Requirements:

    • Must be at least 18 years old
    • Must have a high school diploma
    • Clean driving records (no OWI or DUI)
    • Operate truck and trailer
    • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
    • Become a State of Iowa certified pesticide applicator with categories 3OT, 5, & 6.

    Branch Administrator/Office Administrator

    The Branch Administrator provides support to Director of Operations, Branch Managers, Business Developers, Account Managers and Operation Managers. The Branch Administrator is expected to have a very strong understanding branch operations and metrics and works to assure branch compliance with corporate expectations and policy.

    Responsibilities:

    • Checks all opportunities for accuracy and completeness
    • Administers service partner contracts
    • Collaborates with Corporate Finance Team
    • Sets up local vendor accounts
    • Prepares and makes outbound collection calls, emails and correspondence for past due balances
