    Branch Administrator/Office Administrator

    Description

    The Branch Administrator provides support to Director of Operations, Branch Managers, Business Developers, Account Managers and Operation Managers. The Branch Administrator is expected to have a very strong understanding branch operations and metrics and works to assure branch compliance with corporate expectations and policy.

    Responsibilities:

    • Checks all opportunities for accuracy and completeness
    • Administers service partner contracts
    • Collaborates with Corporate Finance Team
    • Sets up local vendor accounts
    • Prepares and makes outbound collection calls, emails and correspondence for past due balances
    • Collaborates with Human Resources and Operations to coordinate new hire needs
    • Orders and maintains inventory of PPE & employee uniforms
    • Provides administrative support regarding incidents
    • Prepares routine and ad hoc reports
    • Works to streamline and maintain the integrity of operations administrative processes
    • Collaborates with Finance team and Branch Manager(s) in month-end process
    • Works with Branch Manager(s) to identify month-end discrepancies
    • Answers telephone and directs calls to appropriate staff or department
    • Backs up Receptionist greeting visitors, employees, and vendors
    • Directs internal and external visitors to appropriate staff or appointment
    • Completes special projects as needed
    • Filing, faxing, and scanning
    • Maintains a clean, neat, and organized workspace
    • May assist with branch events planning or coordinating
    • Takes ownership of branch office and administration function

    Requirements

    • Positive attitude and friendly personality
    • Very organized and able to prioritize workload
    • Sufficient administrative experience
    • High-school Diploma required. Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
    • Sufficient business acumen
    • Excellent communication ability, both written and verbal
    • Available for occasional travel
    • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Teams (preferred), and SharePoint (preferred)
    • Ability to quickly learn additional software
    • Highly motivated, proactive, and results oriented
    • Must have the mindset of taking ownership over one’s responsibilities
    • Able to build necessary relationships with key stakeholders
    • Able to pass pre-employment drug test

    We currently have an opening for a Commercial & Irrigation Equipment Sales Representative in Central Iowa.  As a sales professional, you will build relationships with customers by understanding the needs of the customer and positioning the value of MTI/Toro with them.

    This position is responsible for growing our market share and generating the assigned sales volumes for the territory. You will actively pursue new accounts and manage new local government and tax- supported opportunities, bids, RFP’s and RFQ’s. You will keep current on pertinent aspects of the business and communicate information through the organization via Salesforce.com. You will represent and promote MTI/Toro by engaging with appropriate associations through committee membership and board volunteerism and actively participate in principal trade association meetings, trade shows, etc. You will be supported in this position by an inside sales representative and a product demo specialist.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Must live in the territory: ideally in the Des Moines area. The territory is Central Iowa.
    • Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Must enjoy building and cultivating long-term business relationships.
    • Possess strong time management and communication skills.
    • Ability to travel within territory, including occasional overnight travel.
    • Possess and maintain valid driver’s license.
    • Non-CDL drivers are subject to the DOT medical exam requirement and must have or obtain a valid medical certificate (DOT medical card).
